To Dos are actionable notes that can be assigned to users, group, roles or folders. These notes can be assigned automatically by flows or on-command by users. Users who receive To Dos will find them listed in the Tasks panel of their My Home page in the portal.
Example
In the example, we will cover:
- Create a To Do task and assign it to ourselves.
- Reassign the task to a group.
- Reassign the task to an account.
- Reassign the task in every user who has permissions to access the folder where the task is stored.
-
Remove assignment.
In the My Home page of our portal, click the To Do button and select To Do (Assigned To Me).
In the resulting Add a To Do pop-up, complete the Title and Description fields, and then click OK.
To reassign this assignment to a group, select it in either panel and, in its Action menu, select Change Assignment > Re-Assign To Group.
A user can also reassign this assignment to users that have specific permissions for the folder where our assignment resides. To do this, select the assignment and, in its Action menu, select Change Assignment > Re-Assign to Users with Permission.
In the resulting Assign To Folder pop-up, select the permissions required of a user who can complete this assignment and click OK.
Every user who has these permissions for this folder has been assigned the assignment.
