Making an Assignment Appear at Startup

Example

In our example, we will assign ourselves a basic To Do assignment and then configure it to appear at startup. In the My Home page, click the To Do button and select To Do (Assigned To Me).

In the resulting Add a To Do pop-up, fill in the Title field and click OK.

As the To Do is assigned to us, a pop-up notification of the assignment will appear in the upper-right corner of our screen.

However, this is the only noticeable alert we’ll receive about this To Do. Unless we scroll to the bottom of the Tasks panel, we may not even notice it.

Now, when we log out and log back in, a Tasks To Show At Login pop-up appears. In it, we’ll find the To Do task.

To complete the assignment and make it go away for good, we will click Mark Complete. In the Mark Complete pop-up, click Yes.

The To Do task is now complete and therefore is removed from the list of assignments in the Tasks panel.
