Changing the Style and Behavior of Content and Components

Set the appearance and behavior of some basic components in the portal using the Edit Portal Settings pop-up. Here, select to show or hide the title bar and actions menu, set whether panels can be collapsed or closed, or how the panel’s margins appear. 

The portal reflects changes to these settings immediately after you save them.

Example

In this example, we change settings in the Edit Portal Settings pop-up, save the changes, and see the changes reflected immediately in the portal.

First, navigate to the folder System > Settings.

 

In the Edit Portal Settings pop-up,  go to the section Page Part Base Content Settings and select or clear checkboxes related to showing and hiding elements and settings related to actions and headers.

Select the OK button and view the updates to the portal.
