Adding Folder Data Header to a Page

A folder data header component appears at the top of a portal or folder page and contains the folder’s name and a description. The appearance of the folder header data can be customized for each page.

To add a folder data header component, create a page or edit an existing one. In the Toolbox panel, drag a Folder Header Data component to the workspace. 

Example

In this example we add a folder header data component to a new page.

First, we navigate to a Designer folder, click the Create Page/Dashboard button, and give the new page a name.
 

In the Page Designer, to change the page’s layout so that the folder header data component will fit to the width of the page.

Expand the Explorer panel and select Surface.

In the Properties panel, in the Layout section, from the Container Type drop-down list, select VerticalStack.

In the Toolbox panel, search for “header” in the search box and press the Enter key.

Drag a Folder Header Data component to the workspace.
 
Our page layout is now complete, and save the page and close the Page Designer.

To view the page with the folder header data, click the thumbnail Action link for the page and select View > Preview Page.

The new page with folder header data opens.
