Adding a Root FolderLast Updated: 08/17/2016 Introduced in Verision: 2.0 |
Root folders are folders which exist at the top-most level of the Folders tree. For example: Recent, My Home and System are all root folders. They are called this because, in computing parlance, they are all children of the root node – an all-inclusive folder that cannot be seen in the portal, but nonetheless contains all of the other folders. Other than their position in the folder hierarchy, root folders have no special features or rights.
Example
To begin, Select the Actions menu in the upper right. In the Core Actions section, we select Add > Root Folder.
Give the root folder a name and click OK.
The new folder displays in the Folders tree.
